How did we get our start?
The Painted Pug started out in a spare bedroom of our tiny Chicago condo, on a microwave cart. Our owner, Sarah, needed a hobby during a bitterly cold Chicago February and she set out to learn a new printing technique, creating designs in Photoshop, and selling on Amazon Handmade. Our personalized barnwood coasters were one of the first items we listed for sale and we have now expanded to multiple categories, including our fun and festive earrings!
Why do we love what we do?
We get to create unique items everyday and are also creating jobs in our local community.
